Meet the Intern: Michel Ciavattone

On her site visit, Michel explored our collections storage.
Here she is holding a surprisingly heavy cannon ball.

Michel Ciavattone (she/her) is a recent addition to the Cultural Resources Division as a (remote) intern. She joined us in August of 2022 for her fall semester at Johns Hopkins University in their Museum Studies Program. At Morristown National Historical Park, she is researching events that predate and concur during the Seven Years’ War. Throughout her internship, Michel has written blog posts about Sir William Johnson detailing his relationship with the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois Confederacy). For her final project, she will be using primary sources from the Lloyd W. Smith collection at the park to create a manuscript digest.

Welcome Michel!
