Morristown National Historical Park in welcoming back renowned pianist Peter
Toth just off a successful European tour.
This special 90th
anniversary program scheduled for Saturday, July 22, 2023. As in the
past, Dr. Toth will play the park’s 1873 Steinway Grand Piano which has been
restored to its 19th century pitch. Dr. Toth will perform a
selection of American and European composers. The program will be:
Chopin: 3 Nocturnes, Op. 15
Amy Beach: Arctic Night
Arthur Foote: Meditation
Scott Joplin: Pineapple Rag
Scott Joplin: Maple Leaf Rag
Schumann: Carnival Jest from Vienna
The recital
will be held at 1:00 PM in the
auditorium at the Morristown NHP, 30
